the interconnected web of life

Earned a 4.0 in Biology this quarter! Part of my study technique was drawing a lot of these "mind maps" to help me visualize how the concepts are all interconnected. As I'm a very visual learner, I think this helped a lot in terms of solidifying the concepts and understanding how they work together as a whole. It made it much easier to memorize the various terms when I knew how they related to each other, rather than trying to think of them as independent units.

Also, it goes to show how intertwined everything in biology is. Unlike disciplines like math, where there are discrete, specific answers, fields like biology are much more ambiguous, but also more complicated in a sense. I found it to be really fascinating!
