I am so thrilled and excited to have been accepted to the Honors London study abroad program. I was really nervous about whether or not I'd get in, so I spent a lot of time on my application, and I hoped that all my answers were satisfactory during the interview. My parents seemed confident that I would get in, to the point where they asked why I was even worrying, but I was honestly a bit intimidated by how thorough the vetting process seemed to be. I knew that there were a large number of applications sent in, so it would be competitive.

I had wanted to study abroad in college for a long time, especially after I traveled to Italy and Greece in my sophomore year of high school for an academic trip. Part of the reason why I joined the Honors program was for the Honors study abroad opportunities. I haven't traveled as much as I would have liked to, so I felt that study abroad would be a great opportunity to have new experiences overseas as well as expand my education. I am looking forward to this summer with great anticipation!
