the fruits of my ochem labors

Although Honors Organic Chemistry lab was difficult and time-consuming, I would be lying if I said it wasn't fun. I enjoyed it so much that I even ended up willingly doing a second quarter of it, despite knowing that the lab reports takes 7-10 hours each. But I really think it all paid off in our final lab, the unknowns lab.

It was a 6-week long lab, and we were given samples at the beginning of the quarter and tasked to identify them using the techniques we had learned. With a wide array of tools at our disposal and an even wider array of possible substances these could be, it certainly was no easy task. But I've come to learn that I love when my hard work has a reward at the end, so I found this very gratifying.
